the dark background causes an excellent contrast. regarding the shutter speed, the sharpness is excellent.

Nice trumpet shot, from an ex-trumpeter. In fact, he looks like he's playing the very small model I recently sold to buy my Nikon --though probably not, since I don't think they make the one I sold anymore.
